Origami, what's the big deal?

Everywhere I look for online news at present, people are wailing and moaning about Origami. I don't get it. The Pepper Pad has been around for ages without this much fuss. Granted, few have the marketing resources of Microshaft, but I would have thought that some of these IT journo's would have pointed out that Origami is at least a year late to the market.
