Credibility? Labour? You've got to be kidding!
In an article on Stuff.co.nz Helen Clark makes reference to an issue of credibility. I'm amazed that she would want to bring anyone's attention to that. Not only this race to a rugby game, but that long ago signature on a painting not her own leaves this voter in no doubt about Helen's personal credibility. She has none. If she said the sun would rise in the east tommorrow, I'd be up early looking for it to rise in the west.
There's no doubt she's a strong leader. Unlike her political allies who seem wedded to nothing more than absolute state power over individuals, I get the idea the Helen has a clear idea of what she wants to do with that power once she's got it. What that might be, I'm not sure, but past records show it would have little to do with the well-being of any but herself and her selected cabal.

Mail service meeting hears same old stuff
Priority Mail takes three weeks, Christmas catalogs arrive in the spring and credit cards show up after their due dates were listed as common occurrences for the island's mail service during a public hearing ...

So Labor pulled off a victory of sorts in the election. Can Clark put together a lasting alliance with other parties?

Probably. Helen's always been more than competent in that arena. What I'm worried about is the fact that Labour didn't really lose much. Yet again, the NZ people have assured Helen she can say whatever she likes, and get away with anything she wants to do.
